NWU Discussion Lists for Writers

There are a variety of email discussion lists that writers in the NWU participate in. Most (but not all) lists are restricted to members only.

NWU-BOOK

Are you new to the world of book publishing and have a burning question you'd love to be able to pose to scores of experienced writers? Encountering a new situation in your career as a writer and need input from other writers who've been there and done that? NWU-Book is an email list for members who wish to participate in online discussions about book-related issues.

NWU LITERARY FORUM

The goal of the NWU Literary Forum is to give writers a chance to talk with other writers and address the issues that freelance writers, of all genres, confront. These might be issues that are of a personal or professional nature about the writing life. We hope to encourage camaraderie amongst writers.

MEDICAL WRITERS

Medical writers: There's an e-mail list just for NWU members. We share job leads, talk about pay scales, and warn each other about problem editors and web sites. Volume is not heavy, so belonging is not a burden. To subscribe, email: MedWriters- subscribe@mwilliamson.com, or Email: miryam@mwilliamson.com. Give your name, your local, and the e-mail address you want to use.
